HSSC Haryana Police Constable 7298 posts Notification Out, 698 vacancies of Female Durga Shakti added

Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) releases on Wednesday recruitment notification for filling up of 7298 posts of Constable (Male and Female) and Female Durga Shakti in Haryana Police Department. The re-advertisement notification against 7298 posts is supposed to be released within 24 hours of the withdrawal of 6000 Constable posts by HSSC. 

Out of the total 7298 posts, Haryana Staff Selection Commission to release notification on 5500 posts of Male Constable (GD), 1100 posts of Female Constable (GD) and 698 posts of Female Constable (Durga Shakti project). The development comes hours after the withdrawal of Advt 06/2019 category no. 1 & 2.

"New advertisement will be released within next 24 hours by Haryana Staff Selection Commission inviting applications for recruitment of 5500 male constables and 1100 female constables in Police Department," said Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Haryana after the withdrawal of 6,000 Police Constable (Male and Female) vacancies.

Additionally, there will also be an advertisement for the recruitment of 698 Female Constables for the first women battalion of Haryana named 'Durga-One battalion', DIPR Haryana adds. Here is Advt 04/2020 notification released by HSSC on Wednesday.

Here is the description of the vacancies sent to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission or HSSC, by Govt of Haryana-

1) Male Constable (General duty): 5500 posts (Gen- 1980, SC- 990, BCA- 770, BCB- 440,  

2) Female Constable (General duty)- 1100 posts

3) Female Durga Shakti (Durga-1 Battalion)- 698 posts

According to a press release there will be an addition of clause in which 5 years age relaxation to be provided to the candidates belonging to EWS category. The recruitment of Police Constable and Female Durga-Shakti Battalion (7298 posts) will be the first to include the clause. Chief Minister of Haryana had said that the clause of EWS age relaxation to be added in upcoming recruitments. 

Eligibility Criteria: Criteria for Constable Male and Female will remain same as to Advertisement no 06/2019. Educational qualification and age limit for Female Constable (Durga Shakti) will be notified at website hssc.gov.in, on Wednesday.
