Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra urges Biden administration to help India amid 2nd COVID-19 surge

While urging US Government to help COVID-19 struck India Priyanka wrote, 'The COVID-19 situation across India is grave. I'm seeing images and stories coming in from different parts of the country that are so scary.'

Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra as of late took to Twitter looking for help from the US government to get more vaccines for India in the midst of the second rush of COVID-19. The entertainer/influence tweeted about the lack of vaccines in India while the US has requested an excess. 

Priyanka while expressing her concern tweeted, "My heart breaks. India is suffering from COVID19 & the US has ordered 550M more vaccines than needed @POTUS @WHCOS @SecBlinken @JakeSullivan46 Thx for sharing AstraZeneca worldwide, but the situation in my country is critical. Will you urgently share vaccines w/ India? #vaxlive."

Priyanka Chopra who is at present in the UK shooting for her forthcoming show with Russo Brothers and Amazon Prime Video has been tweeting about the COVID-19 havoc in India. A week ago, she had asked her fans from India to remain at home and wear a veil when wandering out. She said the circumstance in India is "grave" and "scary" 

Sharing more on the most proficient method to remain safe she wrote, "The COVID-19 situation across India is grave. I'm seeing images and stories coming in from different parts of the country that are so scary... the situation is out of control and our medical fraternity is at a breaking point. Please stay home... I beg you to stay home. Do it for yourself, your family, friends, neighbors, community, and also our frontline workers,"
