At appost.in/gdsonline portal, Applications are invited against Gramin Dak Sevak posts in HP circle. Applications are open for eligible candidates looking forward to the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks. Candidate who desires to apply online for Himachal Pradesh will have to register himself / herself in the portal through indiapost.gov.in or AP Post HP Circle with effect from 07 October 2020 to 06 November 2020. The Job profile of Gramin Dak Sevak will include all functions of viz sale of stamps and stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail and any other duties assigned by Postmaster/ Sub Postmaster including IPPB work in the Departmental Post Offices/ RMS.
HP Post Office Gramin Dak Sevak Eligibility:
Age Limit- The minimum and maximum of age for the purpose of engagement to GDS posts shall be 18 and 40 years respectively as on 07.10.2020.
(i) Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education.
Compulsory knowledge of Local Language- The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard.

Registration / Apply Online:
Only online application will be accepted from the candidate starting from 7 October and closing on 6 November 2020. Here are the simple steps should be followed by a candidate to apply Online.
Stage 1. Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain unique registration number
Stage 2. Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male/Trans-man need to make fee payment. In Case of online payment, if no confirmation is received after the deduction of amount from candidate's bank account, candidates can await upto 72 Hours for settlement.
