Haryana Group C Jobs through Common Test, HTET pattern to be adopted

The Haryana State Govt has approved the proposal to conduct Common Test for all Group C posts in State. On Thursday, Govt finalizes the HTET pattern Common Test for Group C posts. Earlier State Chief Secretary had written a letter to all Departments, Board, Divisional Commissioners and Administrative Secretaries of Govt of Haryana, on introduction of Common Test for all Group C posts. On Wednesday the official letter was issued to all officers of Haryana State Government, Department & Boards over framing the common service rules in Group C posts. The Chief Secretary has called for a meeting under the Chairmanship of Principal Chief Secretary, Haryana General Administration Department.

As per written letter the indication is clear that Haryana Government is set to implement the Common Service Rules in all Group C posts across State. Govt after considering conduct of Common test for all Group C posts as per Group D vacancies structure in state, on Thursday finalized. Initially govt has selected 40 Departments for Common Test & later other departments can be added in the list. "The test will be conducted in HTET style & qualifying the exam applicants will have the option to apply for any department for the service", an officail said.

For introducing Common Service Rules, Haryana Government to conduct Common Test under direct recruitment for all Group C posts. The letter to the all concerned has been written by Superintendent General Services-I, for Chief Secretary to Govt of Haryana. The meeting has been scheduled convening all officers appointed by the State Departments, Boards, Admin Secretaries and Divisional Commissioners in Haryana Civil Secretariat, General Adm. Department, Room No 67, Fourt floor. The meeting will be held from 25th June to 1st July 2020.

“It is requested to depute an officer/ official well conversant with the service rules to be present in the meeting who will bring with him hard copy and soft copy of the filled up proforma in ms-excel and a copy of relevant updated service rules also”, letter states.

Haryana Group C Posts- In Haryana group C vacancies including Personal Assistant, Stenographers, Assistant, JR Accountant, Supervisor, Driver, Stamp Auditor, Electrician, Steno-Typist, Clerk, Junior Translator, Restorer, Book-Binder & Potedar are being filled under 1999 rules. Now Haryana Government has structured common service rules under which a Common Test for all Group C posts shall be conducted.

Final decision awaited: Based on a report, the final decision over the Common Service Rules in Haryana State is yet to be taken. The meeting in this regard is called by State Chief Secretary in next couple of days, the final decision is expected to be taken thereafter.
