Haryana College Open Counselling 2021: Registration re-opens for Physical Open Counselling, Details

Haryana College Admissions 2021-22: Department of Higher Education, Haryana has published college wise vacant seats. Department published the vacant seats left after the 2nd merit list, for which admission closed on September 25, 2021. Students visiting the DHE Haryana Admission 2021 portal can check the availability of vacant seats in participating Colleges. Department has also notified on Open merit list 2021 and Physical Counselling admissions into Colleges from Sept 28, 2021, onwards. The required details of registration, schedule of Open Merit lists (OMLs) and Open Physical Counselling are available at dheadmissions.nic.in.

According to the provisional schedule Department will Re-open Admission Portal for Registration towards Open Merit Lists/ Counselling & Editing of Courses/ Colleges by the remaining applicants who did not get admission in First & Second Merit List as well who want to participate in the Open Merit List/ Counselling commencing today.

Students looking for the Open Merit list 2021 schedule/ Registration and other details should ensure that Haryana College wise vacant seats to be displayed on 28th September (Tuesday). Open Merit list 2021 registration is also beginning today.

DHE Admission Haryana 2021 Latest Update:

September 28, 2021: The details of the vacant seats will be released in due course. The candidates are asked to keep a check at the website on regular basis.

Last Year Schedule-

November 7, 2020- Registration window re-opens for Undergraduate Admissions in Haryana state Colleges, under Physical Counselling. 

November 2, 2020- Last date for the Physical Open Counselling UG admissions has been extended till 05 November 2020 

Oct 24, 2020- Open Physical Counselling towards UG Admissions will be held in Colleges from 28th October to 2nd November 2020. For details, contact respective colleges.

October 21, 2020- Applicants who did not get admission in First & Second Merit List as well who want to participate in Open Merit List/ Counselling can apply/ register till 26th October 2020. DHE Admission UG admission Portal 2020-21 will remain open towards open counselling till 26th October 2020.

October 16, 2020- Department has displayed the College wise vacant seats for Open Counselling rounds. Candidates can check College wise available seats right from here.

October 16, 2020: DHE Admission 2020-21: Haryana UG Admission Portal (2020-21) reopen now for Online Open Counselling from 16th October 2020 (Tentative 12 Noon) to 20th October 2020.

Haryana College Open Merit list: Guidelines for Online Open Counselling/ Merit List (2021)

All those applicants/students who have registered online on the admission portal can participate in the online open counselling towards UG admission. Before participation in the online open counselling, the applicants must properly check the vacant seats in the colleges/ courses/ subject combinations by clicking on the ‘View Vacant Seats’. The applicants must choose the colleges/ courses/ subject combinations very wisely in order to have maximum chance of admission.

There are three categories of applicants who will be considered during the online open counselling/merit list:-

1. All the applicants who have done fresh registration (16th October onwards) on online admission portal will be allowed to participate in online open counselling/merit list. If their name appears in the open merit list, they will be able to make the payment & confirm the seat.
2. Those applicants who were not selected in first and second merit lists along with the applicants against which some objections were raised during online documents verification will be automatically allowed to participate in the online open counselling/merit list. Such applicants will get the option to directly edit their colleges/courses/subject combinations from the student’s login. If their name appears in open merit list, they will be able to make the payment & confirm the seat.
3. Those applicants whose name appeared in first and second merit list can also participate in the online Open Counselling irrespective of the fact whether they have taken the admission by depositing the fee or not.

This option of ‘Open Counselling’ is available in the student’s login. Such applicants will have to explicitly avail/ click the ‘Open Counselling’ option from their login. Subsequently, the applicants will get the option to edit their college/ courses/ subject combinations. After participation in the open counselling, if their name appears in open merit list, they will be able to make the fee payment & confirm the seat.

It is further clarified that those students who have deposited fees earlier (during 1st or 2nd merit) will be able to make the fresh payment & confirm the seat from open merit list if and only if they get their admission cancelled from the previous college/course. Only after the cancellation of admission from the previous college/course, the payment option w.r.t open merit list will be activated against the applicant’s name and ultimately, after payment only, his/her seat will be confirmed. The refund by previous college will be made to the student as per norms.

After finalization of the vacant seats in Haryana colleges, schedule and detailed draft on publication of Open merit lists to be published. Open Merit lists 2020 schedule to be published at web site dheadmissions.nic.in. Candidates can get the details on publication of open merit lists visiting the official web site regularly.
