Haryana to recruit 1,000 Ayush Sahayak & 22 Yoga Coaches, Health Minister

The State Government of Haryana has announced to recruit Ayush Sahayak on 1,000 posts for popularizing the Yoga in state. In his recent statement Health Minister of Haryana, Anil Vij said on Monday that the recruitment process for Ayush Sahayak along with 22 Yoga Coaches will be started soon. The selection will be made by District Level Committee & Committee chaired by Chief Executive Officer of the district, Health Minister said. The decision is taken in view of increasing demand of Yoga inside the country and globally. The Ayush Sahayak recruitment will be made on contract basis in popularizing Yoga in the Haryana state. Vij said that apart from this, recruitment of 22 AYUSH coaches one each in every district will also be made.

He said that Aayush Sahayak will work as in-charge of the Yogashala in about 1,000 Yogashalas in state and will bear the responsibilities in popularizing the Yoga in Urban and Rural areas. Vij said that till the completion of the recruitment process made by the commission, Ayush coach will be recruited at the state level under the selection commission outsourcing policy and they will get an honorarium of Rs 20 thousand per month.

• Yoga Coach- 22 posts (One in each district).

Eligibility for Ayush Sahayak-

Vij said that in the selection process, preference would be given to the candidate from the village or nearby village where the Yogashala is located.

Qualification Required-

For Ayush Sahayak- A candidate should have passed the Class 12th examination from the Haryana School Education Board or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and a Diploma in Yoga from a Recognized University.

Age Criteria- Age of the applicants should lie between- 18 to 35 years

For Yoga Coach- Bachelor's degree in Yoga from a recognized University or Level 2 Certificate from Yoga Quality Council of India.

Age Criteria- Age of an applicant should lie between 21-42 Years.

Pay Scale- The recruited Ayush Sahayak will be paid an honorarium of Rs 11 thousand per month. Whereas for Yoga Coach, honorarium of Rs 20,000 per month will be paid.
