Haryana Assistant Professor Jobs 2020! Application on 2592 Posts @hpsc.gov.in soon

Haryana Education Minister has approved Assistant Professor jobs on 2592 posts. To fill the gap in State Government Colleges Haryana Government through HPSC Commission likely to initiate Recruitment on 2592 Assistant Professor vacancies. Based on indications given by Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal, 2592 Assistant Professor’s vacancies are lined up and soon through Haryana Public Service Commission Applications process to be initiated. To short-out the shortage of Educational Staff in Government Colleges in States Assistant Professors’ vacancies have been approved, minister said.

There are 157 government colleges in Haryana state in which around 1.9 lakh students are pursuing higher education. In majority of Government colleges there is are vacancies of Assistant Professors in various Departments. ‘To fill the vacancies on 2592 Assistant Professor’s posts Government is trying to fill the shortage, source added.

Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal recently confirmed 2592 posts of Assistant Professors to be filled by Government in Colleges. Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) seems to begin the process on 2592 new posts of Assistant Professors for Government Colleges under Higher Education Department. To fill the shortage of educational staff in Government colleges, Haryana Government has pitched for 2592 new Assistant Professors jobs. Recruitment notification on Assistant Teacher Jobs 2020 specifications including Application schedule, Pay Scale, Eligibility and Subject wise vacancies etc will be updated.

After the creation of 2,592 assistant professor posts, the total number of posts in Haryana Government Colleges will reach to 7567 a source added. New posts of Assistant Professors to be filled in 33 subjects including Languages Hindi, English, Punjabi, Sanskrit and Urdu, Science & Technological subjects, Humanities and Arts, Commerce and Economics and several others.

Note- Subject wise vacancies / required eligibility shall be decided by organizing Commission. Updates would be communicated through official advertisement likely to be advertised at hpsc.gov.in, leading newspapers and employment newspapers.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor-

The qualifications of the posts of Assistant Professor is as per latest guidelines of UGC and MHRD circulated by the Financial Commissioner & Principal Secretary to Govt. of Haryana, Higher Education Department.

Selection Criteria for Lecturer / Assistant Professor- Out of total 100 points, the weightage for the selection to the post of Assistant Professor shall be: i. Academic Record and Research Performance- 50%;

Assessment of Domain Knowledge and Teaching Skills- 30%; and Interview Performance- 20%.
