Haryana to recruit 1000 Ayush Assistant, CM announces while inaugurating the Yoga Training Camp in Panipat

The Haryana State Government to recruit 1000 Ayush Assistant, in state School Department, inaugurating the Yoga Training Camp in Panipat via video conferencing, Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar says. Haryana Government is running a mission to empower School teachers in the Yoga Education and has opened nearly 560 Yoga Training Camps for the Teachers, across the state. Government is aiming to train nearly 2200 School Teachers in first session and would start Competitions on district level, a press note reads.

To facilitate the Yoga training to the school teachers, Ayush Assistant to play a key role and government is heading to start recruitment on 1,000 posts very soon, CM said. Government is going to organize Yoga training camps in three sessions for nearly 6-7 thousand schools across the state. Highlighting the importance of Yoga in everyone's life, CM said after Covid-19 its right time to train and spread the awareness of Yoga.

Earlier, State Health Minister Anil Vij also hinted over the recruitment of 1,000 Ayush Sahayak and 22 Yoga Coaches in the state. In his recent statement Vij said that the recruitment process for Ayush Assistant along with 22 Yoga Coaches will be started soon. The selection will be made by District Level Committee & Committee chaired by Chief Executive Officer of the district, Health Minister said.

Assistant will work as in-charge of the Yoga Training camps for the School Teachers in the state and will bear the responsibilities in popularizing the Yoga in Urban and Rural areas. Till the completion of the recruitment process made by the commission, Ayush coach will be recruited at the state level under the selection commission outsourcing policy and they will get an honorarium of twenty thousands each month.

Required Eligibility: A candidate should have passed the Class 12th examination from the Haryana School Education Board or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and a Diploma in Yoga from a Recognized University. Age of an applicants should be between 18 and 35 years.

The detailed guidelines for the recruitment of Ayush Sahayak will be published officially at website of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission and Haryana State Health Department shortly.
