GSECL Result 2020: Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant) results to be declared today, Merit list on Nov 25

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) would be declaring the result for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant) Mechanical and Electrical, on Monday. According to the schedule result of the 2nd November held written examination would be available at official site on November 23 by evening. Candidates who have appeared for the GSECL Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant Grade 1) exam can check availability of their results online at gsecl.in.

After the announcement of Results for the posts of Vidyut Sahayak (PA Gr. - I), Corporation shall release the provisional Merit list on November 25, Wednesday. The availability of the VS (PA) examination result, cut off marks, and provisional merit list can be accessed form the website of GSECL. Corporation is expected to decide the category wise Cut-off marks to shortlist the candidates for the Provisional Merit list.

Earlier, Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) successfully conducted the written examination for 214 posts of Instrument Mechanic and Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant GR.I) for Electrical/ Mechanical posts. The examination was conducted in Online Computer Based mode on 2nd November 2020, followng the social-distancing. The ONLINE exam was held from 15:00 PM to 17:00 PM, in a duration of two hours. To check the results candidates need to login to the career portal and check the availability of link for following posts-

• Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant Gr 1 ) Mechanical
• Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant Grade 1) Electrical
• Instrument Mechanic

The minimum eligibility cut off marks for selection will be 50 and above marks for unreserved candidates and 45 and above for reserved candidates. However, the selection will be made purely on the basis of merit considering available vacancies and reservation rules. A total 5% marks (of secured marks in On-line Exam) over and above actual marks secured shall be added in case of Widow Female Candidates. The widow female candidate, if remarried shall not be given advantage of grace of 5 % marks.

While preparing result, if two or more candidates found with equal marks in On-line Exam, they will be kept in merit according to their date of birth. The Selection cum merit list as and when required as per the vacancy position shall be drawn from result published.
