GPAT 2022 Notification Out Soon @gpat.nta.nic.in, Check Application Form, Eligibility, Test Date & More

NTA shall start to start the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2022 online application process soon at gpat.nta.nic.in. Candidates seeking admissions into M.Pharma courses have to register online for the entrance examination.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2022 online application process in January 2022. Once the online registration window opens the graduate candidates will be able to register for the GPAT 2022. The national level entrance examination for entry into M.Pharma courses shall take place most probably in March 2022 pertaining to the favorable conditions.

Last year, the online registration for GPAT 2021 began on December 23, 2020. The application window was remained open for approximately one month on January 22, 2021. The computer-based exam was held on 22 and 27 February 2021. As many as 47942 candidates were registered for this examination and 45504 candidates appeared for the examination. The examination was conducted in 121 cities in 271 centers.

According to the local media reports, GPAT 2022 online applications could have started in December month. But due to the COVID-19 third wave speculations, the process has been delayed so far and it is expected that the process shall start in the 1st week of January at gpat.nta.nic.in.

To be eligible for Pharmacy Graduate Aptitude Test 2022, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for the final year B.Pharmacy exams can also apply, their result must be declared before commencement of admission for the academic year 2022-23. There is no age restriction for appearing in the aptitude test.

GPAT-2021 will be conducted by NTA as a three-hour entrance examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments, for admission to the Masters (M.Pharma) program Courses in the Academic Session 2021-22. The participating Institutions of GPAT-2021 are the Institutions that will be accepting the GPAT Scores. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE approved Institutions, University Constituent and Affiliated Colleges.

The exam will consist of 125 multiple-choice questions. For each correct response, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks. While there will be an incorrect response, a 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score. The total marks in the examination will be 500.
