DU Postpones Final Year Exam 2021 for Two-Weeks, To Start on 1st June, Date Sheet Soon

DU Final Year Exam 2021 Postponed: University of Delhi on Monday, May 3 postponed the final year/semester exam for UG, PG and Professional courses for two-weeks. Now the exams will commence from 1st June, 2021 instead of May 15, 2021. The decision is taken in view of the ongoing situation due to the Coronavirus in the country.

In continuation to previous notice, Delhi University on Monday releasing an official notice said, "It is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that final semester/annual examinations May/June 2021 to ve commenced from 15th May, 2021, are hereby postponed by two weeks and the same shall start from 1st June, 2021."

Accordingly the date sheet released for commencement of examinations from 15th May, 2021 has also been withdrawn by the University. "The new Date Sheet will be released in due course of time annd will be available on the website of the University of Delhi i.e du.ac.in," notice adds.

Earlier, students and University staff urged the authorities to To postpone the May-June 2021 exams due to the Covid-19 situation in Delhi. Students had launched an online social media campaign and demanded that University should reconsider its decision on holding exams amid ongoing Covid condition.

All the candidates are asked to visit the website of the University of Delhi i.e du.ac.in from time to time to check June 2021 exam date sheet, hall ticket and related announcements.
