DU not to reopen on 3rd January, The Truth is here!

Delhi University is not going to reopen on the 3rd Date of January 2021. Delhi Administration, having taken cognizance of Fake News on Reopening of Delhi University on the 3rd Date of January 2021. Delhi University Administration has warned the students against circulation of a Fake Notification dated the 24th of December 2020 on Social Media, claiming that the university is reopening on January 03, which mentions Reopening of the University for all Undergraduate Courses, Semester 4 for Academic Session 2020-21  

"Delhi University Administration has informed the Students that a Press Release on reopening of the Delhi University would be issued through DU Website as well as through News Channels.  Fake Notice through Social Media on reopening of Delhi University has been circulated, which has gone viral and is doing the rounds, that has notified January 03 for reopening of the Colleges affiliated to Delhi University".

It is significant that Delhi University is currently conducting Online Classes for the students, as all the DU-affiliated Colleges have been shut down since March due to the ongoing CoViD-19 pandemic. Delhi University, significantly, also conducted a Contactless Admission Process for the Academic Session 2020-21 earlier this year. 

Fake News circulated on Social Media mentions, “The University will reopen in Physical Mode from the 3rd of January 2021. Online Classes will not be continued, and Attendance will be strictly Compulsory.”
