DSSSB Combined Exams For 25 Groups to fill over 50,000 Posts in 2022; Check Eligibility & Group Details

DSSSB will follow the schematic framework of UPSC and SSC for conducting the combined exams for the various posts defined in 25 group posts. The application form will commence earlier next year. Check out the vacancy details, eligibility, and other norms below.

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has notified the holding combined examinations for specific cadres posts of Govt. of NCT Delhi from the year 2022. The combined examinations will be conducted to ensure faster conduct of exams and filling up of notified vacancies, on time. To benefit candidates by omitting their multiple appearances in the different exams of the posts with similar qualifications, the board has taken the decision to hold combined exams. 

Through this exercise, the board has identified additional cadre-posts with commonality in essential qualifications and work profiles and to conduct combined exams. While some of the additional cadres-posts have been merged in the existing groups, for other such cadres/ posts, several new groups have also been proposed.  Based on this, DSSSB has structured a total of 25 groups to cover the 115 cadres/ posts; thereby reducing the number of annual examinations considerably.

The board is aim to reduce the number of annual examinations from 115 to 25 to optimize the time, energy and public money invested in recruitments. 

DSSSB Combined Exam 2022: Group-wise Posts & Eligibility

Group 1: Junior Engineer (Civil) in MCD, DAMB, NDMC, DJB, I & FC, DUSIB, DSIIDC.

Eligibility: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

Group 2: Junior Engineer (Electrical) in MCD, DAMB, NDMC, DTL, DUSIB, DSIIDC Group and Section Officer (Electrical) in DTC group.

Eligibility: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University

Group 3: Assistant Engineer Degree in Electrical Engineering DAME 2 (Electrical) from a recognized institution MCD.

Eligibility: Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution

Group 4: P.A. to Secretary, LDC in DAMB & MCD groups, Junior Stenographer, Stenographer (Hindi & English), and LDC in DTC and Urdu Academy, Junior Secretariat Assistant in MCD and Field Clerk in Civil Defence.

Eligibility: Matriculation or equivalent.

Group 5 Posts: Stenographer Grade-III, LDC/Gr-IV (DASS), Steno Typist, LDC, Stenographer Gr-III, LDC, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Stenographer (English), Personal Assistant, etc, posts in different organizations.

Eligibility: 12th Pass or equivalent.

Group 6 Posts: Assistant Teacher (Primary) and Teacher (Primary) in MCS, NDMC, and DoE.

Eligibility: 12th Pass or equivalent and Two-year' s Diploma/ Certificate Course in Elementary Teacher education Course/ JBT or equivalent.

Group 7 Posts: Draughtsman Gr-I, II, III (Civil) in MCD, NDMC, and DJB.

Eligibility: Matriculation or equivalent with 2-year Diploma in Draftsmanship.

Group 8 Posts: Store Keeper and Store Supervisor in DHGCD.

Eligibility: Matriculation or equivalent.

Group 9 posts: Driver, Driver (LMV), Drier (Male), Driver Male (LMV and HMV) in College of Art, Law Deptt., Higher Education, NCC and Trade & Taxes.

Eligibility: Matriculation or equivalent.

Group 10 posts: Lab Technician (Group-III and IV) in H&FQ and Lab Technician in NDMC.

Eligibility: Matriculation with Science. Diploma in MLT from a recognized Institution

Group 11 posts: Pharmacist in DAMB and H&FW and Junior Pharmacist in DTL.

Eligibility: B.Pharma from a recognized institution or 10+2 with Science stream (PCB). Approved Diploma in Pharmacy

Group 12 posts: Pharmacist in DJB and DTC. Pharmacist (Dispenser) in MCD. Pharmacist Allopathy in NDMC.

Eligibility- Matriculation with Diploma in Pharmacy (Allo).

Group 13 posts: ANM, Staff Nurse and Staff Nurse Grade B in MCD, H& FW, NDMC, MAIDS, and DJB departments respectively.

Eligibility: Matriculation or equivalent with Diploma in Nursing.

Group 14 posts: Legal Assistant and Assistant Law Officer in DFS, DJB, DTC, Education, DPCC, Law Department, Trade & Taxes, DUSIB, DTL, NDMC, and MCD.

Eligibility: Degree in Law

Group 15 posts: Section Officer (Horticulture) in NDMC, MCD, and DJB. Eligibility: Degree in Agriculture

Group 16 posts: PGT and Lecturer in DoE and NDMC.

Eligibility: Post Graduate in a relevant subject.

Group 17 posts: Head Clerk in DPCC and DUSIB department and Assistant Section Officer/ DASS Grade II in Services.

Eligibility: Undergraduate degree.

Group 18 posts: Assistant Engineer (Civil) in NDMC, MCD, DAMB and DJB. Eligibility: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Group 19 posts: Assistant Sanitary Inspector in NDMC and DAMB. Eligibility: Matric Pass with Diploma in Sanitary Inspector from a recognized institution.

Group 20 posts: Counselor in WCD & Dept of Prison.

Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Psychology/ Applied Psychology and PG diploma in Counselling Psychology.

Group 21 posts: Welfare Officers in WCD and DSW.

Eligibility: Master Degree in Social Work or Sociology or Criminology.

Group 22 posts: Trained Graduate Teacher in NDMC and DoE.

Eligibility: Bachelor Degree/ Graduation in relevant subject and B.Ed

Group 23 posts: Lab Technician in DSW and DAMB

Eligibility: Matriculation

Group 24 posts: Driver in DSIIDC and Prisons

Eligibility: Higher Secondary or 10+2

Group 25 posts: Drawing Teacher in Education and DSW departments.

Eligibility: Matric pass and minimum 2-year Diploma.

DSSSB Combined Exam 2022 Application Form:

The board will start issuing the advertisements for such combined examinations for the above posts/cadres of the user departments and conduct them from the year 2022 onwards. "The details of vacancies available in each of the above groups, the syllabi for examinations, and other operational aspects will be issued in due course," reads the official notification.

DSSSB had notified the holding combined examinations for specified cadres/ posts of Government of NCT of Delhi and the local bodies from the year 2022 onwards. This is to ensure faster conduct of examinations and filling up of notified vacancies to help candidates as they don't have to appear for multiple examinations of the posts with similar qualifications and work profiles.
