Delhi High Court asks DSSSB to submit a reply on the recruitment of 12,165 posts of Teachers in Delhi govt schools. Board has to submit the reply on the release of the job advertisement before the next hearing to be held on 25th march.

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has been asked to submit a reply in writing to the Delhi High Court over the delays in the recruitment process for the 12,165 posts of Teachers in Delhi schools. The board has to submit the reply before the next hearing in the case that will take place on March 25, 2021. The Delhi High Court has also questioned the Chairman of the Board to brief on when the board will be releasing the job advertisement.

Facing a huge delay in the commencement of Teachers' recruitment against the 12,165 vacancies, the Delhi High Court slammed the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board or DSSSB.

Delhi High Court Justice Najmi Vajiri on Wednesday ordered the Board to submit its reply in the court. The order comes after the Delhi Government had given its nod to the DSSSB board to start the recruitment against vacant posts of Teachers in the Delhi govt. schools.

The board was issued the first approval for filling up the 11,139 Teachers' vacancies in March 2020 and the second approval on remaining posts was sent in January 2021.

On Wednesday, the High Court asked DSSSB to submit its reply ahead of the next hearing that will take place on the 25th of March. Board has also been questioned to brief on when will the board release advertisement against the 12,165 Teachers' vacancies.
