Disney+Hotstar announces 4 big projects in Tamil Cinema, November Story & Live Telecast in list

Disney+Hotstar showed its intention of entering the Tamil audience by announcing four big series and one movie that will release in the upcoming month. From Tamannah Bhatia to Kajal Aggarwal all actors will be soon to come in those series. 

In a web conference attended by celebs such as Venkat Prabhu, Karthik Subbaraj, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannah Bhatia, Jai, RJ Balaji, Vani Bhojan, and Seetha, apart from Disney executive Sunil Rayan, the OTT major gave us an idea of its lineup, which showed both a variety of content and direction too. 

Fans can enjoy these on Disney+Hotstar. Let's have a look at those series and welcoming all the celebs in Tamil series:

Live Telecast

Genre: Horror

Starcast: Kajal Aggarwal, VP-regular Vaibhav, and Kayal Anandhi

Live Telecast is a series of horror genre directed by Venkat Prabhu, this series also features Kajal Aggarwal, VP-regular Vaibhav and Kayal Anandhi. The director calls it his first step into the pure horror genre and from the teaser of the series, it looks like the event took place in the horror mansion.

My Perfect Husband

Genre: Family Drama/Comedy

Starcast: Sathyaraj and Seetha

The poster of "My Perfect Husband" too was launched and it features megastars Sathyaraj and Seetha, apart from Big Boss participant Aajeedh Khalique. It is a light-hearted drama that also involves a small segment of family drama, the actor described it as a “perfectly, imperfect husband” and his family. It will be fun to watch the whole comic drama and evacuate Sathyaraj comic timing.

Triples

Genre: Rom-Com

Starcast: Jai, Vivek Prasanna, and Vani Bhojan

This series is produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stonebench Productions, this comedy series is said to be in the mold of a Crazy Mohan comedy, the director said. It features Jai, Vivek Prasanna, and Vani Bhojan, and the teaser promises a lot of wordplays, romance, and comic during the stressful time of the pandemic. 

The November Story

Genre: Thriller

Starcast: Tamannah Bhatia, Pasupathy

Tamannah too stepped for the very first time into the web series space with a promising thriller project titled ‘November Story’. In the conference, she said the series was about a father (a crime novelist) and his daughter. With gory visuals and lots of intrigues, this series, directed by first-timer Indira Subramaniam, also stars performers like Pasupathy.

Mookuthi Amman

Genre: Drama

Starcast: Nayanthara, RJ Balaji

And as some had predicted, the big news of this movie came up during the announcement was the launch of Nayanthara-RJ Balaji-starrer Mookuthi Amman, making it one of the biggest films to go directly onto OTT in Tamil.
