The news is advertised bringing relief to more than 22 thousand Guest Teachers of Delhi Government Schools in Delhi. As per latest report on Delhi Guest Teachers, service expansion has been provided to Guest Teachers once again. The Directorate of Education, Delhi Government has issued an order , under which guest teachers will be able to teach till the appointment of regular teachers in Delhi Govt Schools. The Permanent Teachers vacancies are also lined-up in Year 2020 based on related reports.
On Monday, Lt. Governor of Delhi extended the service till next permanent recruitment of Guest Teachers teaching in Delhi Government Schools. Earlier, the Delhi High Court in one of its order fixed the tenure of the Guest Teacher till 28 February & Extended till October 31st.
During that a decision was also given to extend the tenure, but due to non-hearing in the case, extension of services of Guest Teachers was hanging. Getting big relief on Monday, Delhi Govt School Guest Teachers now can continue their services till Permanent Teachers vacancies get filled.
Earlier in protest, Guest Teachers of Delhi Govt Schools agitated for more than 70 days and finally on Monday got big relief. The Lt Governor Anil Baijal extended the services of Guest Teachers due to the hearing on 31 October. In Delhi High Court matter related to Guest Teachers extension was in pending and finally taken over. There was confusion about guest teachers going to school after the time period was over.
Regarding this, the All India Guest Teachers Association wrote a letter to the Lieutenant Governor, Deputy Chief Minister and Director of Education, once again, demanding extension of service,
