Delhi Guest Teacher Jobs 2020: Notification for TGT, PGT, EVGCs Released, Apply online at edudel.nic.in

The Directorate of Education, Govt of NCT Delhi invites online applications for drawing a panel of Guest Teachers for the posts of TGT (Maths, Science and English), PGT (English, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce and Economics), EVGCs and Special Education Teachers. Eligible candidates can apply online for the TGT, PGT, EVGCs, and Special Education Teachers' vacancies from December 1, 2020 onwards.

Applications are invited on behalf of Directorate of Education in the Delhi Government Schools for the posts of TGT, PGT, EVGCs and TGT Special Education Teachers on the basis of as and when required, for academic session 2020-21 and onwards.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply and register themselves on our website www.edudel.nic.in from 01.12.2020 (11.00 AM) to 10.12.2020 (up-to 6.00 PM). Submission of applications other than online mode shall be summarily rejected. Applicants are strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the application to this department.

Eligibility Criteria:

PGT/ Lecturer (English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Commerce, Economics)- Post graduate degree in the subject concerned from a recognized university with B. Ed. 2. Age Limit: Not exceeding 36 years.

TGT: A Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University having secured 45% marks in aggregate. Bachelor of Education from a recognized university AND CTET (Paper -II Secondary Level) conducted by CBSE.

TGT English- English as main subject at Graduation level with one of the following subjects: - History/Political Science/ Economics/Commerce/geography/Agriculture/ Horticulture

TGT Mathematics: Mathematics as main subject with one of the following as second subjectChemistry/ Physics/ biology/ botany/ Computer Science/ Zoology/ English/ Commerce/ History/ Pol. Science/ English/ Geography/ Statistics/ Agriculture.

TGT Natural Science: Two or one of the following as main subject at Graduation level:- Physics/biology/botany/ Chemistry/Zoology

TGT Special Education: Graduate with (a) B.Ed. Special Education or (b) B.Ed with two years diploma in special education or (c) Post graduate diploma in special Education. AND CTET (Paper -II Secondary Level) conducted by CBSE. Age should be below 30 years, relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/Exsm/PH.

Educational and Vocational Guidence Counsellor (EVGC)- Masters degree in psychology from a recognized university or institution with ii. Diploma in Guidance and counselling from a recognized university or institution. Age should not exceeding 30 years.

Preparation of Merit List:

State wise panel will be prepared on the basis of academic merit separately for each category of applicants including SC/ST/OBC/ Disabled persons and other. As soon as a regular teacher joins the school, the Guest Teacher concerned will be dis-engaged from that school, irrespective of his/her standing in the order of merit list initially drawn for the purpose of engagement.

The Guest Teachers shall be paid as per the approved rates as mentioned below:

1. PGT including EVGC- 1445/-
2. TGT including TGT (Special Education Teachers)- 1403/-

The order of Merit list shall be displayed on the departmental website. Further, documents verification related to age, qualifications, caste certificate etc. will be conducted by the department. The selected candidates will be called for engagement as guest teacher, as per the requirement.
