Rohit Shetty's directorial film 'Cirkus' is bankrolled by T-Series and Rohit Shetty Studioz in association with Reliance Entertainment. Considering technical works, Jomon T. John has taken care of the cinematography, while Bunty Nagi handles editing. The background songs and music are composed by Devi Sri Prasad who is renowned in the Telugu cinema industry for his great works.
Bollywood’s power star Ranveer Singh is playing the lead role in the film, where first time in his career he will play a double role character.
He is collaborating with Rohit Shetty after their super blockbuster film Simmba which was released in 2018, where he plays the role of a cop along with Sara Ali Khan.
One more time the audience will be going to witness this duo recreate the magic with a new concept this time. Along with Ranveer, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde play pivotal roles in the film.
Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone will be featured in special appearances that anticipate the fans more.
Cirkus is a period comedy-drama set in the 1960s when kids and youth didn’t use mobile phones. Before launching the trailer of the film, Rohit Shetty released an introduction teaser to introduce all the cast in the film.

The narrative of the movie revolves around a circus operator and his companions who are gymnasts and belong to a big circus company trying to bring back the extinct culture of circus to the public. It will also show two pairs identical who got separated at birth which leads to humor and confusion when meeting later face to face.
Cirkus was held to be released on 31st December 2022, then on 15th of July, though could not meet the dates due to production delays via the Covid-19 pandemic.
The trailer of the movie will be coming out on the 2nd of December, scheduled to be released at the theatres on the 23rd of December coinciding with Christmas Eve. The production budget of the film is around 100 Crores approx that includes 90 Crores for Production Budget and 10 Crores for Advertising Costs.
