Chinese Media Confirms casualties, Sources hint Chinese PLA lost its 5 soldiers

During India-China violent face-off at Ladakh on Monday, Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have also cost casualties, confirmed Chinese Media sources. According to Indian media sources Chinese PLA has lost at least five of its soldiers and eleven have suffered injuries. According to ANI report a Chinese media source has accepted casualties on both sides. “Chinese side also suffered casualties in the Galwan Valley physical clash", tweets Editor In Chief of Chinese Newspaper Global Times.

High Level Meeting is called by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. According to sources Defence Minister to put the incidence in detail with Prime Minister Modi at 3 PM today.

Chinese media is reporting casualties in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) after India-China LAC clashes last night. As per reports, as many as 5 Chinese PLA soldiers have died and 11 others have been injured in the violent India-China LAC clashes in Ladakh's Galwan Valley region. According to India Army Official Statement, "During the de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place in Monday night which caused casualties.

  • In Indian side an Officer and 2 Indian Army Soldiers have martyred in the clash.
  • In Chinese side media sources confirmed the casualties. Indian Media claims Chinese PLA lost its 5 soldiers and 11 injuries.

The violent clash at Indo-Chinese border which caused casualties re-occurred after 40 years.

A High Level Meeting on Indian Side

A high level meeting has taken place between Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and CDS General Bipin Rawat to deliberate further on the escalation. All the three Service Chiefs were also present in the meeting.
