The Department of Education Chandigarh Administration announces to recruit teaching and non-teaching staff at School & College Level on more than 200 posts. In Chandigarh Government Schools nearly 108 posts for Teaching staff (100 Lecturer & 08 Headmaster) are vacant and in Govt Colleges more than 200 Non-Teaching staff posts are vacant, Education Department says. District Education Officer, Chandigarh Education Department has confirmed the vacancies at School and College level in Union Territory.
To fill the vacancies in Education Department & Higher Education in Chandigarh, the selection process of Recruitment Agency is in process. The Education department assures that if process goes in right direction, the Recruitment advt on said 200 Non-Teaching and 108 Teaching vacancies will be released in August.

For (Lecturer/ Headmaster) posts- Candidates should have passed Graduation / Post Graduation with 55% marks from a recognized University/ Institute. For the post of Headmaster applicant should have at least 5 years’ experience as a Teacher / Headmaster in Govt School.
For Non-Teaching posts- Should have passed 10+2 / Graduate degree from a recognized Board/ University.
