In view of external menace from the Enemy side both China and Pakistan, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall issue Recruitment Notifications for Recruitment to the Posts under Central Armed Police Forces and Assistance Commandants.  The Recruitment slowed down due to Global Pandemic novel Corona Virus Disease (CoViD)-19 spread by the People Republic of China. 

Now, the Government of India would shortly issue Green Signal to both Union Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission to proceed with Recruitment Process to fill larger chunk of Constable Posts under Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Both Staff Selection Commission and the Union Public Service Commission shall shortly release Recruitment Notification through both Employment Newspaper and Official Website to invite Online Applications from the Eligible Candidates.

There are as many as 111093 Posts lying vacant with Maximum numbers for the Post of Constable under the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the Union Minister of State for Home, Nityanand Rai informed the Presents in Rajya Sabha on Monday the 21st Date of September 2020. He detailed the Department wise Vacancies arisen due to Retirement, Voluntary Resignation, Untimely Tragic deaths due to Terror or Enemy attacks.  He outlined the Police / Security Force wise Vacancies existing for Recruitment through Direct Recruitment, Promotion and Deputation. The Border Security Force (28926); Central Reserve Police Force (26506); Central Industrial Security Force (23906); Sahastra Seema Bal (18643); Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (5784) and Assam Rifles (7328) respectively.   

The Union Minister for State Home Affairs also informed Rajya Sabha Members in respect of the process of Recruitment for 60,210 vacanciess to the Posts of Constables, 2534 Posts of Sub-Inspectors shall be carried through the Staff Selection Commission and that Recruitment for 330 Posts of Assistant Commandants to be executed by the Union Public Service Commission.  

He indicated that apart from Promotion and Deputation, the Staff Selection Commission and Union Public Service Commission will initiate Recruitment Process for the Posts soon. The SSC and UPSC would issue Notification both in the Employment Newspaper and in the Website.
