The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday, August 02, 2021, released the exam dates for Class 10th, 12th Improvement, Compartment, Private and Patrachar exams 2021. An official notice is also shared through social media on its official website, cbse.nic.in. With this notice, the students of class 10th and 12th are given a chance to improve their marks
According to CBSE, students who are not satisfied with the marks awarded based on the policy of tabulation will be given an opportunity to appear in examinations to be conducted by CBSE in August-September 2021. Based on this policy, marks scored in the later exams will be considered as final.
The exams will be conducted for students who are not able to meet the qualifying criteria in one subject and placed in the compartment category, after the declaration of result 2021. In addition to this, for CBSE private, patrachar, and 2nd chance compartment candidates whose result has not been declared based on tabulation policy because of their non-availability of year-long assessment details, exams will also be conducted from August 16, 2021 onwards.
Students of class 10th and 12th are given an opportunity to improve their performance only in one subject in compartment examinations in compliance of information communicated. A better of two marks obtained in the subject will be considered for declaration of results.

Accordingly, for all the above categories, CBSE has proposed to conduct exams between August 16 and September 15, 2021. The date sheet of the exams will be released in due course of time.
The examination will be conducted for 19 subjects including- English Core (001), Physical Education (048), Business Studies (054), Accountancy (055), Chemistry (043), Political Science (028), Biology (044), Economics (030), Sociology (039), Informatics (PRAC), Computer Science (083), Mathematics (041), Hindi Elective (042), Hindi Core (302), Geography (029), Psychology (037), Home Science (064), Physics (042), and History (027).
