Bihar Group D Jobs 2021: 30,000 posts, Application process likely to start, know the details

The Bihar state government is eyeing to hold a direct recruitment drive for filling up Group-D posts in the state Departments, Commissionerate & Corporations. The recruitment is expected to start shortly by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission and an official notice regarding the Group-D recruitment likely to be advertised at www.bssc.bih.nic.in by April 2021.

To fill approximately 30,000 vacancies of various posts including Office Attendant, Library Attendant, Peon, Gardner among others, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission shall hold a Group D direct recruitment drive. The Bihar state government to fill these Group D posts in various offices, departments, and corporations of the state government.

After preparing a formal draft on the Group D vacancies in Bihar state and getting approval from the Pariksha Bhavan the recruitment proceedings to kick start by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission or BSSC.

After the release of the Group D vacancy notification, there will be an opportunity for the candidates waiting for the Bihar state government jobs to appear for the exam. The candidates who have been waiting for the Group D vacancies in the Bihar state are finally having an update on their desired recruitment.

"The state government will soon bring bumper vacancies for the posts falling under the Group D category. A requisition has also been sought from the concerned offices", a report published in Prabhat Khabar reads.

The state government last year delayed the recruitment process due to restrictions imposed under several phases of lockdown. But only after the formation of the new government, the exercise to fill the vacant posts 

BSSC has sought requisition from the district, sub-divisional, and state-level offices. Till now the commission has got vacancies from 29 districts, which is being reckoned. After getting the vacancy details from participating offices & departments across all the districts, it is estimated that about 30 thousand vacancies will come.

According to media reports, the appointment of Office Attendants in most of the district of the Bihar government is pending for a long time. Similar posts are vacant in different Offices of the Bihar state government.

BSSC secretary Om Prakash Pal said that the Office of Superintendent of Bihar Staff Selection Commission has received details from 29 districts. Details from other districts are expected to come shortly. After the final draft, an official Group D recruitment advertisement will be released on the website - www.bssc.bih.nic.in.
