Bihar 94000 Teacher Jobs 2020 ! D.El.Ed NIOS Eligible, Apply Online from 15 June

The process for the recruitment of 94,000 Teachers in 71,244 Bihar State Government Schools is set to begin from 15 June. Bihar Directorate of Elementary Education is going to invite online applications on 42,606 Primary Teachers, 28638 Middle School Teachers and 391 Basic Education Teachers vacancies. Bihar Government has directed to given chance to D.El.Ed (NIOS) Diploma holders for the post of Primary Teacher. Following the validity granted to the D.El.Ed (Open Distance Learning) programme through the NIOS by the National Council for Teacher Education in view of Patna High Court order, now such students are eligible to apply for the post of Primary Teachers in Bihar State. Directorate of Elementary Education is going to release employment notification on 94,000 Primary teachers, Middle School Teachers, Basic Schools Teachers, Computer Teachers etc.

Directorate of Elementary Education, Bihar State is going to release Employment notification for the recruitment of 42,606 Primary Teachers, 28638 Middle School Teachers and 391 Basic Education Teachers. In this scheme, the candidates who have done 18 months in-service Diploma in Elementary Education course from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are eligible to join Online registration process.

After High Court Order, Three Lakhs get Relief

After the High Court’s order and approval from Bihar Education Department, nearly three-lakh teachers were enrolled with the 18-month D.El.Ed Programme of NIOS got relief. It is not known exact numbers but likely 3 Lakh of applicants possessing TET/ CTET / D.El.Ed NIOS are eligible for qualification.

Bihar Teachers Eligibility Required-

The department of education has issued a notification to implement over inclusion of candidates having successfully completed the 18-month D.El.Ed programme and cleared Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teachers’ Eligibility Test (CTET). Now candidates possessing D.El.Ed / TET/ CTET are eligible to apply from June 15, 2020 onwards.

Note- Candidates who had submitted the application form and are waiting for the merit list, need not to submit the application again.

For Primary Teacher- Candidate should have passed TET or 18 month DELED course is eligible to apply.

Higher Secondary Teacher- Master’s Degree AND B.Ed

Computer Teacher- B.Sc in Computer Science

Bihar 94000 Jobs 2020 Apply Online-

Bihar Elementary Education Board is going to open online application registration from June 15 to July 14, 2020. Application form can be filled at Bihar Education Board website on Bihar 94,000 Teachers Bharti. Earlier Bihar government issued advertisement for the recruitment of 94000 Teachers in the state and the process had reached an advance stage, but the Primary Education Directorate letter denying eligibility to candidates having 18-month D.El.Ed programme citing NCTE norms was challenged in the High Court. In 2019, the NCTE had stated that the 18-month D.El.Ed) course from NIOS was meant only for the in-service teachers and it could not be extended for future appointments in keeping with its regulations that mandate two-year course.

In his recent order, High Court directed Bihar State Government clear eligibility for D.El.Ed (NIOS/ Open Distance Learning), TET & CTET holders for the Primary School Teachers.
