BHU declares Post Graduate Entrance Test 20202 (PET) Result. University on Saturday, Sept 26, 2020 declares the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET) Theory results for MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, Acharya and other courses.

Banaras Hindu University has announced BHU PET 2020 result for Postgraduate courses. University Admission Cell declares on Saturday the PET Theory results for MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA & other courses. Students appeared for the BHU PET (Theory/ Practical) can check the Merit list/ score card/ rank & detailed result access visiting the web site bhuonline.in. Taking to its official webesite, Banaras Hindu University displays PET 2020 Theory result for different programmes. A list of shortlisted candidates for the Document Verification/ Personal Interview (PI)/ Group Discussion (GD) and Physical Test (only for MPEd), has bee published under BHU PET.

Earlier BHU conducted the online computer based test for Postgraduate Courses under the name of PET from 24 to 31 August, 2020. As many as 1.2 lakh applicants had enrolled for the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) 2020. Organizing the PET in Computer Based mode (100 marks) and concluding evaluation process, University on September 26, declares the PET (Theory) results at web site official to University.

List of candidates shortlisted for Physical Fitness test (M.P.Ed.) and Practical Examination (M.P.A./MFA) has been uploaded on the Entrance Portal. Candidates are advised to visit the University Portal (www.bhuonline.in) regularly. Here is the direct link facilitated to view the PET Theory result using the Roll number and Date of Birth.

Firstly candidates are put in the merit list according to their combined marks in Theory Paper and Physical Fitness Test who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the theory as well as Physical Fitness Test (ii) After that those candidates will be put in the merit list on the basis of their combined marks in Theory Paper and Physical Fitness Test who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the Physical Fitness Test but could not get minimum qualifying marks in theory. The shortlisted candidates called for physical fitness test/ practical examinations are required to come prepared to stay for at-least 2-3 days.

Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI):

For selected PG courses Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) component will be applied. Admission to such courses will be on the basis of a composite merit comprising of marks in the entrance test, group discussion and interview (combined weightage for group discussion and interview shall be 20% of the total marks of the written test i.e., 72 marks). In these courses marks obtained/rank in the Entrance Test would not be disclosed till the GD and PI components are over. At the time of declaration of result of these courses, candidates would be able to see as to whether they have been shortlisted (to be done in order of merit in the Entrance Test) for GD & PI or not. The number of candidates, in order of the merit, to be called for GD & PI cshall be decided by the Admission Committee.

Documents in Original Required at the time of Admission:

Only those candidates who are selected/ waitlisted shall be informed through a Call Letter (to be downloaded from the Entrance Test Postal) by the concerned Dean of Faculty/Head of the Department, BHU about their admission. If a candidate is called for admission to a particular course on a particular date/dates, he/ she shall have to bring with him/her all the necessary documents mentioned below in ORIGINAL failing which his/her admission shall NOT be considered. (The Call Letter will contain more details.)

(i) Transfer Certificate.

(ii) Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than BHU (To be submitted not later than 90 days of admission).

(iii) High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.

(iv) Intermediate (+2) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.

(v) Mark sheets of High School/equivalent & Intermediate (+2)/ equivalent.

(vi) Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.

(vii) PET Admit Card issued from the office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU.

(viii) SC/ ST/ OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.

(ix) Certificate (s) in support of claim for 'Sports Seats'.

(x) Certificate of being the son/daughter of a permanent in-service employee/ Retired/ Re-employed/ Deceased employee of BHU in the prescribed format issued by the Central Registry.
