Bhopal Singh sworn-in as HSSC Chairman, announces One lakh Jobs in next four years

Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman Bhopal Singh on Wednesday said that the Commission will make recruitment on one lakh vacancies in next four years. Chairman Singh was speaking at swearing-in ceremony in Chandigarh.

On Wednesday, Bhopal Singh who has served as a Chairman of the Commission, sworn-in as the new Chairman of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). Singh attending a local ceremony in Chandigarh sworn-in as Chairman along with six other members who also administered the oath of office. While speaking on the occasion, HSSC Chairman Bhopal Singh said that the Commission is eyeing to make recruitment on one lakh new government posts in the coming four years.

On this occasion, state Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar and retiring Chairman Bharat Bhushan Bharati were also present. Among six other members who joined the office on Wednesday were Vijay Kumar, Satywan Shera, Vikas Dahiya and Sachin Jain.

Bhopal Singh took the pledge to uphold the commission’s dignity and ensure transparent and merit-based selections in the recruitments under Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

According to a report published in the local daily, 'The Tribune' it is reported that the new Chairman and Members of the HSSC are expected to carry out the recruitment process by making a suitable schedule in an appropriate manner and as per the requisition sent by the state government.

Recently, HSSC has launched its One-Time Registration portal to hold Common Entrance Test (CET) for the recruitment of Group C and D posts coming out in the state government departments, corporations, offices, etc. The last date for the registration at the One-Time Registration portal is 31st March 2021.
