Under farmers' Bharat Bandh call the country will remain closed on Tuesday, December 8 to oppose the government to withdraw new laws related to agriculture. Several farmer organizations across the country have called a nationwide block. Most opposition parties, including the Congress, the left, have announced support for Bharat Bandh.
Several Opposition parties will protest against the central government in different parts of the country on Tuesday. Apart from this, many unions related to trade, industries and banking have also exntended their support to farmers' movement 'Bharat Bandh'.
According to Press agency ANI, Transport facilities, supplies of essentials likely to be affected in Delhi on Tuesday as various unions and associations of cab drivers and mandi traders will join nationwide strike called by farmers.

Rakesh Tikait, head of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), said that essential services would be allowed during the 'Bharat Bandh'. Bharat Bandh will be observed from 11 am to 3 pm, but no one will be disturbed in these hours, he added.
On other hand Centre has asked all states, Union Territories to tighten security during Tuesday's 'Bharat Bandh' called by farmers' unions and supported by opposition parties, asserts peace and tranquillity must be maintained.
