Assam Secretariat Junior Administrative Assistant Jobs 2020: 170 Vacancies, Apply before 31 Aug

The Secretariat Administration Department (SAD), Assam has released recruitment notification for filling up of 170 posts of Junior Administrative Assistant posts. SAD Assam releasing vacancies under Jr Administrative Assistant (JAA) cadre invites online applications from Graduate and interested candidates from July 31 to August 31, 2020. Eligible and interested candidates may apply online for the Assam Secretariat vacancies at sad.assam.gov.in prior to 31/08/2020.

SAD Assam Recruitment: Online applications are invited from the intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India having Registration Number in employment exchange in the state of Assam for filling up of the 170 Junior Admin Assistant vacancies in the Assam Secretariat (Janata Bhawan) under Assam Secretariat Subordinate Service Rules, 1963 [as amended) in the scale of pay ofPB-2 Rs 14,000- 49,000 + Grade Pay Rs 8700 pm plus other allowances. 

Assam JAA Total Vacancies- 170 posts: UR: 57, ST (P): 14 Nos, ST (H)- 12 Nos, SC: 14 Nos, OBC/MOBC: 40 Nos, Person with Disability: 14 Nos & Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 19 Nos

Educational Qualification & Age:

The applicants must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 45% marks, 40% for SC/ST candidates in their degree examination. Age of the candidate should not be less than 1B years and more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2020.

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be made through two phases.

Phase 1: The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type written test to be held in the District Headquarters of Assam on a date to be notified later on. Total marks- 250

Phase-2: Against each vacancy, three candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Computer Practical Test and Precis Writing test to be held centrally in Guwahati. Total marks- 50
