Assam Assistant Teacher Jobs 2020: Apply for 3753 posts of Lower & Upper Primary Teachers, before 11 October

Assam Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission Directorate has released Recruitment notification for filling up of 3753 Assistant Teachers' posts in Lower Primary and Upper Primary school level. Assam SSA invites online applications from Assam TET qualified candidates for filling a total 2966 posts of Lower Primary Teacher, 548 posts of Upper Primary (Social Science) and 239 Upper Primary (Maths & Science) posts. The eligible candidates can apply online for Assam Assistant Teacher jobs 2020 in the website ssa.assam.gov.in from 10:00 AM of 27 Sept 2020 to midnight of 11 October 2020. A candidate can apply only for one post in one district mentioned above. Not following this criterion will lead to cancellation of candidature forthwith.

Directorate to fill 3753 Assistant Teachers' post, invites Online Applications to ensure availability of teachers in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools of Assam especially in high pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) schools of remote and isolated areas, in prescribed format. Applications are invited from the permanent resident of Assam qualified in Assam TET conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam for filling up of posts of Assistant Teachers at Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on contractual basis under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission. Eligible candidates can apply for Assam Assistant Teacher jobs advertised on 3753 posts.

Note- The Online Applications and documents submitted by the candidates should reach on or  before 11 October 2020. Documents will be verified using modern technology ensuring genuineness of the uploaded documents. No offline application will be received.

Eligibility and Number of Vacancy:

Assistant Teacher- Lower Primary: 2966 posts

At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Assistant Teacher- Upper Primary (Social Science): 548 posts

Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Assistant Teacher- Upper Primary (Maths and Science): 239 posts

B.Sc from UGC recognized University with Assam UP-TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes.

Assam Assistant Teacher Jobs Selection Process:

Separate Merit list will be published for each district. The selection of the candidates for the Assistant Teacher (Lower Primary/ Upper Primary) shall be strictly in order of merit following procedure as per Government norms. Marks will be allocated as per norms specified in the recruitment advertisement.

Age Criteria: For a candidate minimum age can be 18 years and maximum age can be 40 years for unreserved category, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disabilities.
