Akshay Kumar came to Mumbai after leaving the shoot of his upcoming film. Akshay Kumar's mother was not keeping well for a long time. On September 3, Aruna Bhatia was hurriedly admitted to Hiranandani Hospital in Mumbai.

She was admitted to ICU. Her condition was very critical. Akshay Kumar immediately rushed backed to Mumbai from London after getting this concerning information about his mother's health. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film 'Cinderella' in London.

Akshay had thanked the fans. Earlier on September 7, Akshay Kumar thanked those who prayed for his ailing mother. Akshay said the he was feeling touched by all the love and prayers by his fans.
