Indian Air Force releases the AFCAT 2020 Notification & begins the Online Application for IAF AFCAT Graduate Level Test from 1st Dec 2019. Indian Air Force publishes short notification for AFCAT 2020 (Air Force Common Admission Test) for the courses commencing in January 2021. For filling 249 vacancies under AFCAT 2020 into Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) applications can be filled by eligible Graduate candidates before 30 December 2019.
AFCAT 2020: Applications for Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT 2020 are invited at Online Indian Air Force Recruitment Portals (www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR www.afcat.cdac.in). Aspirants can Apply Online for AFCAT 2020 at Online portal starting from 01 December 2019 onwards. The last date for IAF AFCAT 2020 Registration is 30 December 2019. The detailed AFCAT notification carrying eligibility, vacancies details, selection process, exam details etc shall be notified through website portal. Eligible Men and Women can apply online for AFCAT 2020 befor last date ie – 30/12/2019.

Candidates can apply online for IAF AFCAT 2929 through Online CDACT AFCAT 2020 portal as afcat.cdac.in. Online Registration for AFCAT Admission Test will begin from 01 December and will close on 30th December 2019.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Technical Branch: Candidates should have passed a 4 years’ degree program in engineering or equivalent, for detailed qualification refer to the notification below.
Flying Branch: Graduates in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level, alternatively should have BE / B Tech degree (with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit:
For personnel into Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
For Personnel into Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years
AFCAT Physical Fitness Test / Physical Requirements:
Candidates will be required to complete 1.6km run in stipulated time frame of 9 Min, 100 Meter run in 16 sec, furthermore 20 Pushup and Sit-ups in 1 minute, should be able to do 3 chin-ups and should be able to swim 25 meter.
Selection of the applicants will be on the basis of AFCAT 2020 written examination, Officers Intelligence Rating Test & Picture Perception and Discussion test, Psychological test and Group tests / Interview (SSB Interview. Final Merit list will be displayed by Indian Air Force at its official website.
