Adithya Varma Box Office Collection Day 3

Adithya Varma is a gripping and largely faithful remake of the Telugu film, Arjun Reddy (which was also remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh). Though it is almost a scene-to-scene remake, some minor changes make Adithya Varma a crisper iteration. Pleasingly, it Conjointly tones down the nephrotoxic masculinity of the original.

Moreover, the Gireesaaya directorial has also made a notable mark at the box office. According to trustable reports that have surfaced on social media, the Dhruv Vikram  and Priya Anand starrer has collected around Rs 3-5 lakh on its first day Worldwide box office Collection and  Movie May Collect around Rs 2.00 Crore on Day 2. Adithya Varma Movie may Collect on it's First Weekend around Rs 5-6 Crore.

Adithya Varma has been directed by Gireesaaya, who has earlier assisted director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Vanga helmed the Telugu and Hindi versions of the film. Banita Sandhu of Shoojit Sircar’s October fame stars within the lead role opposite Dhruv.

Dhruv Vikram is able to bring out the romance, the roiling anger and angst his character experiences, as well as essay his final breakdown so poignantly that your heart goes out to Adithya Varma. When a romcom could have been a perfect launch vehicle, Dhruv Vikram should be lauded for making a daring choice in Adithya Varma. This is may be perhaps a sign that for a debutant, the “hero image” is no longer sacrosanct in contemporary Tamil cinema.
