1.4 Lakh vacancies in Indian Railways to help run faster on the track of development: Piyush Goyal Office

The office of the Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday speaks-out on the ongoing mega recruitment drive on 1.4 Lakh vacancies. Hailing the decision taken by Government of India, it writes that the recruitment will help Railways run faster on the track of development.

Indian Railways is holding recruitment drive on nearly 1.4 Lakh vacancies in various Grades in Indian Railways. Under three Stages Indian Railways has decided to conduct a mega drive for the Recruitment of one lakh and fourty thousand vacancies by end of next year. Ministry of Indian Railways, through Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is holding recruitment drive commenced 15th December, 2020 with Ministerial and Isolated categories single stage Computer Based Exam.

Indian Railways has decided to fill the 1.4 lakh vacancies which have been advertized through Centralized Employment Notices 01/2019, 03/2019 by participating RRBs and RRCs. Following the mega-recruitment plan, Minister of Railways recently came-out with the schedule of ONLINE exams to be taken by more than 2 crore applicants.

Speaking-out on the recruitment drive, Office of the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that, "With the ongoing recruitment drive for about 1.4 lakh vacancies in the railways, the youth of the country will get employment and Indian Railways will get the support of the youth personnel for increasing the convenience and security. With the new energy of working youth, Indian Railways will run faster on the track of development".

Following the schedule, RRB Ajmer is conducting Stage-1 of mega recruitment drive for RRB CEN 03/2019 Ministerial and Isolated Category posts exam started from 15/12/2020 and to last on 18/12/2020.

The board has decided to conduct 2nd Stage NTPC CBT 1 exam from 28 December 2020 onwards. Third stage recruitment to be held in 2021 for the RRC CEN 1/2019 for Level 1 posts (Group-D).
