Hridayam, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan and starring Pranav Mohanlal, is continuing its dream run at the box office. After no shows on Sunday, Hridayam experienced a terrific Monday rush that was much stronger than the release day rush. Surprisingly, the coming-of-age drama has now surpassed the famous ₹20-Crore threshold around the world.
According to a leading entertainment outlet, Hridayam earned ₹18 crores in its first week at the box office. This was supported by the receipt of ₹1.35 crore on Friday & ₹1.65 crores on Thursday. The film debuted around the ₹3 crore level and maintained it on Saturday before seeing a decrease in collections on Sunday.
The film then rebounded with results close to ₹3 crores on Monday and slightly more than ₹2 crores on Tuesday. The film's box office took another leap on Republic Day, with Rs 3 crore coming in on Wednesday.
According to the newspaper, Hridayam exceeded Pranav Mohanlal's previous best first-week collections of ₹13 crores for his film Aadhi, which was released in 2018. According to reports, the film grossed ₹25 crores worldwide.
