As the results are announced of the Kerala Local Body Elections 2020, Left Democratic Front (LDF) retains Thiruvananthapuram Corporation with total 51 ward seats, followed by NDA which bags 34. According to the News Agency ANI, out of 100 wards, LDF has won 51, NDA 34, UDF won 10 and others won 5 wards. The counting of votes for 21,893 wards began earlier today.
LDF candidates have won in the wards of V Muraleedaran, Oommen Chandy, Ramesh Chennithala and Mullappally Ramachandran. The third and final phase of the Kerala local body elections ended on Monday, December 14. As the counting began it was expected that the final results would be declared by 1 pm.
