Uttar Pradesh Police has speed-up the process of recruitment on 13,000 posts. UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (PRPB) on 12050 posts has started process of Exam Conducting Agency and likely to invite applications from next month, Board President R K Vishwakarma said. UP Police to fill 1250 posts in Ministerial department has speed up its process to fill vacancies in Police Department. Based on a press release, Uttar Pradesh Police has also said that recruitment on 13000 posts would be completed by the end of year 2020.
In its recent notice Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board has said that nearly 7400 Sub Inspector and Ministerial staff posts to be filled in Department. Among total vacancies nearly 6000 Sub Inspector posts and 1400 Steno, Accountant & other Ministerial staff posts will be filled.
Uttar Pradesh Police through PRPB board will also fill vacancies of Horseman (Cavalry Police), Fireman and Jail Warder on total 5800 posts. A total 2500 posts of Horseman, 3638 posts of Fireman and 102 posts of Horseman (Cavalry Police) to be filled. Recruitment on these vacancies has been hanging since 2016. The detailed advertisement on said vacancies is likely to take a shape soon, an official said during interaction.
