Railway Recruitment Board, Chennai has increased the number of vacancies under CEN 01/2019 for Non-Technical Popular Categories posts. Releasing an official notice, Recruitment boards revise new vacancies for the Traffic Assistant post in RRB Kolkata, from 87 to 160. A total 73 vacancies for the Traffic Assistant post (Category number-08) under NTPC Graduate & Non-Graduate recruitment are increased.
The revised vacancies of Traffic Assistant post (Cat No-08) are applicable to the CEN no 01/2019 for recruitment of various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate and Undergraduate posts. Enhancement of notified vacancies for the post of Traffic Assistant, Metro Railway/ Kolkata has been notified at Railway Recruitment Boards' website. As a reference for the candidates a brief is made available to the candidates.
Railway Recruitment Board, Chennai releasing an official notice, dated 24/12/2020 increases the number of vacancies of Traffic Assistant (Category number 08) of Metro Railway / Kolkata under RRB Kolkata. The increase in NTPC Traffic Assistant vacancies as detailed below- UR- 65, SC-24, ST-12, OBC-43, EWS-16, and EXSM PwBD-16.
"The vacancies notified in the Centralized Employment Notification CEN-01/2019 for the post of Traffic Assistant (Category No.8) of Metro Railway/ Kolkata under RRB Kolkata have been revised. The vacancies notified have been enhanced from 87 to 160", notice reads.
Now, Indian Railways will make recruitment against 35,208+73 i.e 35,281 vacacnies through NTPC recruitment exam. RRBs conducting the first stage computer based test, starting from 28 December 2020.
RRB NTPC online exam will be conducted in different phases in view of more than 1.2 crore applications. Board has released NTPC stage 1 admit card for all regions allowing applicants download their admit card for Phase 1 examination, to be held for 23 lakh candidates.
Note- According to the notice, all other terms and conditions as given in the centralized employment notification CEN 01/2019 will remain unchanged.
