Haryana State Government is about to start recruitment for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) as DEOs are asked to submit report on vacancies of PGT Teachers in the state Govt schools. School Education Department has started the hunt to look for the PGT Teahers' vacancies across all the districts in the state. District Education Officers (DEOs) have been issued the advisory to submit the data of PGT Teachers vacancies in respective districts.
According to a press release, Haryana Government to start recruitment against the vacant Post-Graduate Teachers vacances in state, shortly. DEOs are directed to submit the reports on PGT Teacher vacant posts, by Friday. Earlier, the details of PGT Teachers at MIS Portal mismatched which led to the invite of report from District Education Officers on PGT vacancies in the state.
State Government likely to approach Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) for filling PGT Teachers vacancies. Being a nodal agency HSSC to define the Haryana PGT Teacher recruitment structure, shortly. The detailed recruitment advertisement shall be published online at hssc.gov.in, only after the finalization of PGT vacancies.
To fulfill the PGT Teacher eligibility a candidates should have passed Post Graduate Degree (Masters' Degree) with 50% marks in relevant stream with B.Ed from any recognized institution or University.

Selection of the candidates will be based on the Written Test conducted by Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Additional marks on Experience/ NET shall be considered.
