The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has recommended a recruitment notification for filling up 6552 posts of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Stenographer. ESIC would be inviting online applications from the candidates to fill these Upper Division Clerk or Upper Division Clerk Cashier and Stenographer (Group ‘C’ posts) posts under Recruitment Regulations, 2021. Total number of posts- 6,552 posts
1. Upper Division Clerk/ Upper Division Cashier- 6,306 posts
Age Limit- Between 18 years and 27 years. (Relaxable for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and the Government servants up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government).
Educational Qualification- Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. And Working knowledge of computer including use of Office suites and database.
Method of recruitment: 1. 75% by direct recruitment by written examination. 2. 15% by promotion on the basis of seniority cum fitness. 3. 10% by Limited Departmental Competitive Examination.
2. Stenographer- 246 posts
Qualification- 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. And Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) on computers.
Method of recruitment- Group ‘C’ Departmental Confirmation Committee.
Salary: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
