PAF violated the Indian Airspace, agencies investigating the breach: Reports

One Pakistan Air Force fighter jet breached the Indian Air-space, sources claim. According to the reports a fighter jet was reportedly seen in Mendar sector of Poonch District. Agencies have started investigation in this matter.

In Mendar sector a Pakistan Air Force fighter jet was reportedly seen breaching the Indian airspace. According to the defence sources, a PAF jet flew very near to the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district on Monday.

Following the incidence Indian Airforce scrambled the jets to thwart the air intrusion. IAF also put on AWACS on high alert alongside the border.

Agencies have started investigating the breach in the matter and the situation along the border regions turns tense, report claims.

Agencies are looking in the matter that the breach was provocative or intentional. Unofficial reports also claim that the fighter jet has been crashed in Tattapani sector of Kotli in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
