WHO Chief thanks PM Modi for India's continuous support in fight against Covid19 pandemic

The Director-General of the WHO Dr. Tedros praising the efforts of the Indian Govt thanked Prime Minister Modi for his continuous support to tackle the Covid19 pandemic. Here is what Dr. Tedros writes in his message, read below.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Saturday hailed the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Indian Govt. for continued support to tackle the Covid19 pandemic. In his message, Dr. Tedros thanked Indian Prime Minister Modi for saving lives by extending Covid-vaccine support.

"Thank you, India and Prime Minister @narendramodi for your continued support to the global #COVID19 response. Only if we #ACTogether, including sharing of knowledge, can we stop this virus and save lives and livelihoods", WHO Chief Dr. Tedros tweets.

The praise from the WHO chief comes when India has dispatched millions of doses of Indian covid-vaccine to more than ten countries including Brazil, Colombia, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, and Maldives among others.
