Based on TV reports, the National Investigation Agency NIA received a letter from All India Lashkar-e-Taiba a new Terrorist Group, with a hit list carrying the names of Virat Kohli & PM Modi at top. Based on report PM Modi and Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli are in a terror hit list claim TV reports. All India Lashkar-e-Taiba group is believed as a new Group or renamed of any other group which send a threatening letter to NIA.
Virat Kohli & PM Modi in Hit List of Terrorists
As per Indian Media News Outlet’s report, the threatening letter was sent to the NIA throwing new Terrorist organization name- All India Lashkar-e-Taiba High Power Committee Kozhikode from Kerala. After receiving the letter from terrorist organization NIA alerted concerned security agencies and intimated the concern to higher authorities. Probably this is the new Terrorist organization who is seeking to spread its wings in India and we know how to deal with it- said official.
Indian Security Agencies and NIA have received such hit lists in the past, but this time it is not an usual but in the list carrying Virat Kohli’s name also raised alarm towards the cricketer. A terrorist group specifies the Virat Kohli a Cricketer’ s name in Hit-List is something we should thoroughly scrutiny and intimate to concerned authorities. We are not taking any threat lightly- we will try to identify the group as soon as we can added- official.
This is clear that Group naming Lashkar-e-Taiba operates from Pakistan and adding Cricketer in hit-list signifies something serious report. Agency also briefed that this group could be an existing group with a new name.
Who are in the Hit List of Terrorists-
The hit list of Lashkar-e-Taiba imprinted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli, NSA Ajit Doval, J&K Governer Satyadev Narayan Arya & other leaders. List also includes names of Indian President Ramnath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, Working President of the Bharatiya Janta Party JP Nadda, senior politician LK Advani and Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Mohan Bhagwat.
As per IANS report NIA has forwarded the letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the matter of Virat Kohli. The sources also confirmed to the news agency that the letter could be a hoax, but given the heightened threat perception, no chance is being taken and security reviews of the match venue and individual players are being carried out.
