As the ongoing farmers' protest moves to the 15th Day, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar to make an appeal to the protesting farmers to end their agitation and work with the government, on Thursday, told sources. Union Minister will also brief the media on the sidelines of government's writtten proposal to amend the farm laws, keeping the consulation door open to the farmers.
The development comes hours after the Farmer leaders rejected the written proposal sent by the Centre, and call for the protest demonstration on 12th and 14th December. "Agriculture Minister’s press conference shall start at 4 pm to reiterate Govt’s written proposal and promise a written assurance on MSP plus a appeal to farmers to call off their agitation. Farmers to watch it and give their response at 5 pm at their daily press conference at Singhu Border", sources told SL.

Minister had asked the senior citizens and children to go home, due to winter and Covid-19, after the 3rd round of meeting with the union leaders.
