"Those who eyed the Indian Territory in Ladakh have received a befitting response," the Prime Minister was quoted saying in the 66th edition of Mann Ki Baat today. "If India knows how to maintain a friendship, it can also confront someone and give an appropriate response if required," he added, referring to the Galwan valley clash that took place earlier this month.
He also paid homage to the martyrs of the clash during the program. "Our brave soldiers have proven that they will not let anyone cast an evil eye on the glory and honor of Mother India," PM Modi said. He further added that India bows to the brave martyrs who have always kept her safe and that their valor will always be cherished.
The PM further remembered how India has been raided and exploited for hundreds of years before as well but it has never adversely affected our glory, rather only added to the brilliance and prestige of the country. No matter what the challenge, we will always overcome it as we have up til now, the PM stated assuringly during his speech.
