Spike of 8392 highest cases in 24 hrs mark total cases nearing 2 lakh, India ranks 7th

According to the latest report coronavirus cases in the country increasing rapidly, Spike of 8,392 new COVID19 cases & 230 deaths reported in the last 24 hours in India. The total number of cases in the country now at 1,90,535 including 93322 active cases, 91819 cured/discharged/migrated, and 5394 deaths: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. With over 1.99 lakh cases of coronavirus, India has reported more cases than France's marginally lower 1,99,535 and climbed to seventh from the ninth spot in the list of 10 nations worst hit by the coronavirus pandemic. The country recorded 1,99,535 coronavirus cases till June 1st.

The number of coronavirus infections in the country has crossed 1.90 lakh. According to the latest figures of the Union Health Ministry, a total of 1,90,535 cases have been reported in the country so far. At the same time, the death toll in the country has also increased to 5,394.

Spike of 8392 cases, total case nearing 2 lakh

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, there are 93,322 active cases in the country, while 91,819 patients have been cured. Meanwhile, Unlock-1 has been implemented across the country from today till June 30. After four steps, the guidelines of unlocking lockdown in the country have now come into effect. Under this, many types of discounts have been given across the country. From today 100 pairs. 200 special trains will also be run across the country. These trains will be non-AC.

The highest record in a single-day jump of 8,392 new patients was reported in the 24 hours till Monday morning. This is the first time that the number of coronavirus cases in India crossed the 8,000-mark in a single day.

The number of total deaths linked to the highly infectious illness crossed the 5,000-mark after 230 patients died in the 24 hours till Sunday morning, government data shows.

State Wise Coronavirus update

India now in 7 Position worst-hit due to the pandemic - has been registering record spikes for the last three days. The sharp rise in cases comes as India prepares to re-open in a phased-manner after nearly two months of lockdown to tackle the pandemic.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released Unlock 1 phased guidelines. The government issues new guidelines for phased re-opening of all activities outside containment zones for the next one month. In Delhi, total corona cases reached 19,844 and 473 death reported till now, in which 10,893 active cases in the county.

In Maharashtra total corona cases reached 67,655 and 2286 people lost their lives, in which 36040 active cases in Maharashtra.

In Gujarat total, corona cases reached 16,779 and 1038 people lost their life, 5822 active cases in Gujarat.

In Tamil Nadu, total corona cases reached 22,333 and 173 deaths reported in the state, 9403 active cases in Tamil Nadu
