We are particularly concerned about states that leverage terrorism as an instrument of state policy, says Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at SCO summit.

"The most important challenge faced by us is terrorism, particularly cross-border terrorism. India condemns terrorism in all its manifestation. We are particularly concerned about states that leverage terrorism as an instrument of their state policy", Naidu adds.

Hitting-out at Pakistan, Vice President says that it's unfortunate to note that there had been attempts to deliberately bring bilateral issues into SCO & blatantly violate well-established principles & norms of SCO charter. Such acts are counterproductive to the spirit of consensus that defined SCO.

India is hosting the SCO 2020 summit virtually in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Monday inaugerated the virtual SCO summit 2020 being hosted by India.
