Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy tested Covid-19 positive, withdraw from Thailand Open

Badminton players Saina Nehwal, HS Prannoy and Parupalli Kashyap withdraw from Yonex Thailand Open after Nehwal and Prannoy tested positive for COVID19. Another Indian Shuttler P. Kashyap has also taken quarantine.

Breaking news is coming in that Indian Badminton stars Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy have been tested Covid positive. According to the news agency ANI, Indian shuttlers Saina Nehwal, HS Prannoy and Parupalli Kashyap have withdrawn from Yonex Thailand Open after Nehwal and Prannoy tested positive for COVID19.

"Badminton players Saina Nehwal, HS Prannoy and Parupalli Kashyap withdraw from Yonex Thailand Open after Nehwal and Prannoy tested positive for COVID19," said Badminton Association of India.

According to the BAI, P. Kashyap has also gone under quarantine due to close proximity with a player.
