India is all set to celebrate its 72nd Republic Day on Tuesday, while the preparations for the Republic Day parade are being carried out, some changes have been made to keep it a corona free affair. Major General Alok Kacker on Saturday declared that Republic Day Parade will end at National Stadium instead of Red Fort. Furthermore, each contingent strength will be reduced from 144 to 96 & there will be no veteran contingent marching this time.

Major General has also added that No child below the age of 15 will be allowed to take part and No. of spectators have also been reduced: Social distancing and other necessary precautions will also be taken to ensure the safety of all the attendees.

Apart from this, for the very first time, the newly acquired Dassault Rafale Fighter Jet will also feature in flypast performing a vertical charlie maneuver.
