PM Modi to head 85 member high level committee to commemorate 125th birth anniversary of Netaji

Ahead of West Bengal polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi forms a committee constituted by 85 members to commemorate 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Many opposition leaders, Netaji's kin, INA Freedom fighters are the members.

A High Level Committee headed by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi constituted to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. According to the Ministry of Culture the constituted High level committee will decide on activities for a one-year long commemoration, beginning 23rd January 2021. 

Many opposition leaders, CMs including Mamata Banerjee, family members of Netaji and Bengal BJP leaders in the committee constituted by the Centre for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's 125th anniversary celebrations.

Leaders including Netaji’s kin, INA freedom fighters, actors, music composer AR Rahman, historians are also included in the 85 member committee. After the constitution of the committee Prime Minister gets praise on the social media.

The Members of the Committee include distinguished citizens, historians, authors, experts, family members of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, as well as eminent persons associated with Azad Hind Fauj (INA). The Committee will lend guidance to the commemoration activities in Delhi, Kolkata and other places associated with Netaji and Azad Hind Fauj, both in India as well as overseas.
