PM Modi Live on India-China Border: Assured sacrifice of Jawans will not be in vain

Prime Minister Modi Live- PM Modi during the interaction with Chief Minister on day 2 over Coronavirus paid tribute to martyrs and assured citizens of country that Indian Army is capable of safeguarding its borders. Beginning the live interaction by paying tribute to martyred soldiers, PM Modi said our soldiers martyred fighting the enemy at border. "I would like to assure the nation that the sacrifice of our jawans will not be in vain. For us, the unity and sovereignty of the country is the most important...India wants peace but it is capable to give a befitting reply if instigated", said PM Narendra Modi.

In his opening speech on India-China border row, he said India want peace, but if provoked ready to guard the nation in all circumstances. Prime Minister after his message called for two minutes of silence before beginning of Home Minister's address. PM Modi got emotional after two minutes of silence.

Indian PM made these remarks at the start of the second day of his virtual meeting with state chief ministers on the coronavirus, stressing his stance on the India-China violent face-off in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh, the Prime Minister said that “India will defend every inch of its territory.”

PM Narendra Modi said this while referring to the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers during a violent face-off with the Chinese PLA in the Galwan Valley in the eastern Ladakh on Monday night.
